Here a few FAQ’s you might want to consider before having your new flat screen installed or ‘How to’ DIY
Q. How do I fit my TV to the wall?
A. If you are happy with using power tools then it may be possible to mount your own TV. Please remember if you’re hanging a large TV on a stud wall you must not hang the TV on plasterboard fixing only. If you’re unsure what to do please call the professionals. Safety should always come first.
Q. Can I mount my plasma screen above my fireplace?
A. Yes, as long as the fireplace has an appropriate cover to reduce the heat.
Q. What is VESA?
A. VESA stands for “Video Electronics Standards Association” and is a international body which regulates standards for video and computing equipment. Their wall mount standard is one of many popular standards created to help in selecting the correct mounting.

Q. What is the optimal distance to sit away from screen?
A. As a general rule you should be able to position your seating so that the minimum viewing distance is 3 times the width of the screen.

Q. How long does it take to complete the installation?
A. Most installations take 2-3 hours. TV installation for very large LCD or Plasma screens can take longer due to the size and the additional installation requirements for the wall mount. We will always over fix a screen.
