Custom Sound and Vision can design and install fully integrated multi room audio systems to suit a range of budgets. Multi room audio systems have developed at furious pace in the last 2 years with the launch of the iPad.  No longer do you have to have keypads wired into every room to control the system. Ceiling speakers can provide the highest quality audio with minimal intrusion on the aesthetics of a room.  The launch of the Apple iPad has caused manufactures’ to re design how their systems are used.

Most of the big manufactures’ now have dedicated apps that  allow their systems to be controlled from the touch of your finger from any room and even remotely. Imagine the flexibility of been able to control what music is playing in the garden from your iPad.

We can install dedicated multi room systems up to 36 zones. Most systems work using CAT5e and Cat6 structured network cable for the controllers. Speakers are installed using high quality oxygen free speaker cable. Extreme care should be taken when installing these cameras to ensure the highest quality cable is fitted. It’s very hard to replace once a house is finished. Care should also be taken to ensure cables are not run close to mains 240V.

Wireless

Sonos also provide some very clever wireless multi room solutions.  Although wireless does have some limits it also has huge benefits if retro fitting into a home.  No longer do we need to chase cables into walls to add a new zone onto a system. With Sonos rooms can be added one by one allows users to expand the system as they require. All zones can be controlled using a dedicated controller or by using an Apple based device running an app.  Please contact us with your requirements as we have special deals from time to time.

DIY Solutions

Custom Sound and Vision are happy to offer support on a DIY music system where you would act at the installer responsible for the bulk of the cabling yourself. We can supply everything you need to get you started and provide limited telephone support during the install.  Once you are ready for second fix we can finish the install and fully commission the system for you.  This option is only available on certain kits.
